Thanks to Dr. Jason Conley, Skidaway resident and owner of Village Walk Pharmacy for planning and operating this wonderful resource for our community. This is a huge effort that Village Walk Pharmacy has undertaken for Skidaway. The clinic is also supported by Coastal Care Partners and other island volunteers.
We have released 300 new vaccine appointments for next week, March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Go the the link at the bottom of this page to register.
We have had a great week performing vaccinations. We did a total of 1100 vaccinations this past week. Thanks for everyone for their help in showing up on time and also another BIG THANK YOU to Village Walk Pharmacy and all of the volunteers for continuing to work this effort in a very professional and efficient manner.
If you would like to receive and email alert when we are preparing to open a large amount of new ROUND 1 appointments, please enter your email address below.
This is the policy set by the Chatham County Health Department.
4B Skidaway Village Walk in the old Hallmark Store
The clinic operates Monday Thru Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm
We do not have a "sign up list". We offer appointments you can schedule online...when we have the available. We have not scheduled any round one vaccination appointments after Friday January 29th.
To check if any appointments are available, follow these instructions...
Scroll down this page to a big section in blue that says "Schedule Your COVID Vaccine Appointment". There, a link that takes you to the Village Walk Pharmacy web page. Click on the Register for COVID Vaccine button. This will take you to our scheduling system. If there are available appointments, the earliest available will show first. You can click the time line above to look for more dates if the earliest is not convenient.
If no appointments are available, there will be a message saying "No appointments".
Once you work through the registration process, you MUST see a message that says, "Thank You, your appointment has been made". If you don't see that screen, the appointment was NOT scheduled. You will also get a confirmation email.
We received two shipments of Pfizer last week that will allow us to complete Round 2 vaccinations in the next two weeks. We hope to receive more next week, but as noted above, we don't know what the number is until we get it.
Village Walk Pharmacy had planned on between 500 and 1000 people to register. A system was in place to call back, manually, those who registered. Ultimately 8000 people sent in their forms. There was absolutely no way for Village Walk Pharmacy to call back that many people...there's just no one to do it. So, the tough decision was made to start over with a system that could handle a larger number. We apologize for this false start.
If you would like to volunteer you can click the link below. We may not respond immediately,
but we will as we need new volunteers. Thank you!!
